This Is So Sad

Is anyone else as pleased as I am that re-runs of early West Wing episodes are on ABC on Saturday nights late?

Has there been any more fast paced and dense dialogue since Moonlighting? Or the Gilmore Girls?

Is anyone else as thrilled as I am that James Spader and Denny Crane are in re-runs on Sunday nights?

How old to you have to be to think this is wonderful? So wonderful that staying home on Saturday nights or getting in early seems like a great idea?

The youngest person I know who is happy about these re-runs is a forty-seven year old heterosexual male. And he gets in even earlier than I do, so he won't miss the old Baretta episodes they're running now on cable, too.

Excuse me while I check my AARP membership card to see when it expires.

  2. That's okay.  I like staying home Friday nights so I can watch the Travel Channel's  haunted lineup.  But I have a good excuse...ya never know when you're gonna wanna haunt someone after death and who couldn't use a few good ideas.  Sure, there's the traditional rattling of chains and moaning, but why limit yourself?

You won't see me online on most Monday nights.  It's West Wing marathon night on channel 47.  I guess I'd better open that AARP envelope I've been trying to ignore.  It's adressed to me, but I haven't been able to admit that I'm old enough for them to be contacting me, LOL!

  4. Whatever channel 72 is locally, has become like the "West Wing Channel".  It's on 24 -7, it seems.  I just wish they'd run them chronologically instead of at random!

  6. Now that 6' Under is over, there will be no TV on in this house. At all. No background noise, nothing. No TV. But if you are enjoying it, why make yourself do something else?

  8. We live in such a fast-paced world. I am convinced that television is meant for us to slow down and relax and perhaps be transported to another place and time. I love the fact that Boston Legal is coming back on tV. I love the banter between Schmidt and Crane. Spader is always out on a limb and that is why we love him so.    Anne

  9. I am a huge West Wing fan.  I even own the first 3 seasons on DVD  :)  It is also on late Sunday nights as well ;)

And on cable network Bravo in the middle of the day!!

Boston Legal is finding a new place in my heart now...  it's growing on me faster than athlete's foot.....

All this coming from a (hetero) 36 yr old female  :)

  12. I'm not anywhere near an AARP card, and I was happy to see the West Wing on late Sat nights.
Too bad I can't stay awake for it.
Maybe I'm closer to that AARP card than I thought. :p
