Who Knew I Had Such Thoughtful Readers?

A mathematically inclined reader of my journal did the calculations on how much weight I would gain if I continued at my Thanksgiving rate of ten pounds every seven days.

He said I would pile on 474.5 pounds more by this time next year. I'm so lucky to have friends like YOU and you know who YOU ARE.

Since having juice on the plane ride back this morning I haven't eaten anything. It's been eight hours and I can still taste the sopapillas from last night's dinner. Maybe I have seven stomachs and just didn't know it.

I haven't been hungry all day. I wonder when it'll kick in again.

By the way my nephew hasn't been born yet. Since he was already estimated at seven and a half pounds three weeks ago, he's going to be a big one by his due date next week.

He's going to love Thanksgiving.

Oh, my gawd.  That poor woman.
Having carried around a near nine and a half pounder myself, I have nothing but sympathy for her.

Sopapillas?  Mmmm....
I have two words for you:  elastic waistband.  Breathe easy, Mrs L, and pace yourself.  lol

If you put on 474.5 pounds, the hot monkey lovin' is OFF.

Did you notice, no ad at the top?

If that baby gains as fast as you did, your sister-in-law will need some serious surgery.

If you gain 474.5 lbs, please go sit on someone at AOL. We will all feel better. Anyway, 10 lbs every 7 days for a year is 520 lbs, isn't it?

OMG!!! Ms. L!!  Those little buggars can put on 1.5 a week the last few weeks!  ESPECIALLY if the mother goes overdue!  Holy Shnee!  Mine were all over due...and huge.  Are you roasting his first turkey?...he's gonna need it!  Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. ;)  C.  http://journals.aol.com/gdireneoe/thedailies

I just don't want to hear any episiotomy stories.

From either one of you.

At that rate by christmas you'd have had your own orbit !
Never fear Mrs L after all that food you'll probably not even contemplate hunger till new year ! x

It seems everyone loves a fat joke. So, full-on Orangutan lovin' and you have your own atmosphere. At 474.5 pounds, no one will dare say orange is the new pink.

The good thing about big babies is that they sleep through the night pretty early on.  None of that " every two hours" stuff.  Those little butterballs can put away enough food to hold 'em over for hours.  I know ... I gave birth to giants.  Tina http://journals.aol.com/onemoretina/Ridealongwithme

Mrs L I shouldn't think you will be hungry for a month - you ate enough to feed half on England over thanksgiving..lol...I guess the weight of your Nephew will be 9.2lbs.....at birth....and he will love Thanksgiving...Ally
