It's about a 340-mile drive to Traverse City, MI from Chicago's northern 'burbs. And the hearing is likely going to be less than an hour (the judge has another case scheduled for 9:45am).
Those who are compelled to attend should. That said, I think it's a safe bet that Bricker's attorney has a series of delay tactics in mind to prevent Bricker from being extradited. Be prepared for some legal maneuvering that cuts the hearing short.
