Monday Photo Shoot -- First Day of School

What do young men do when high school football season starts?  They shave their heads. All four sides. Here is the son of friends with his shorn pate for the record.

UPDATE:  First football game of the season.  Guess who ran for three touchdowns and about 150 yards as his team beat their opponents 42 to 14?

Is it  just me
or are more men shaving their heads now
than in the past?
Are there more men going bald these days
or what?

My great grandma used to say "Go tell my ass, my head's gone a huckleberrying."
My grandma used to say, "That's too much sugar for a cent."
My mom used to say, "Use your common sense."
Now you know all there is to know about me.

I love it! :-) Brings back memories! The ladies should love that for pictures of the first dance! :-)

Hope you're enjoying stealth mode. Thanks for the Mac advice, it actually made sense to me.  I have a few other AOL for OS X tricks up my sleeve, so anytime you have a question, I just might have an answer.
Friday night football games used to be the best in high school! I might just dust off my old yearbooks to rehash some old memories.  Thanks for the inspiration, Mrs. L

It reminds me of all the rookies walking around here with their hair "high-and-tight." I tell them to find out which male celebrity really rings the bell of their spouse and take note of their haircut. Most of them are saddened to find out women generally prefer men who don't have a penis on top of their shoulders.

Looks good on him though...

my cousins play football and they live for the head shaving.  must be a male bonding thing.  http://journals.aol.com/pixiedustnme/Inmyopinion/entries/1252

Does this mean he passes Male Bonding 101?

Hey, he looks okay. His head isn't shaped funny or has any weird bumps in it, so maybe he'll still be able to get a date.
Just reassure his Mom it'll grow back.  lol

I never shaved my head voluntarily but I did have a neurosurgeon shave half of it to perform an emergency lobotomy **err** I mean craniotomy in 1990.  It was fun walking around with one half of my head shaved with a long Frankenstein scar closed with staples on the side.

"Mommy!  What's wrong with that man?"

And can I just say what I fine lookin' young man he is.  Love that smile!

Just thinking about how all the guys I went to school with would never be caught dead with a shaved head...now, it's all the rage.  Okay...

A razor will never touch my head, my mustache, my chest, or my- - - - (you fill in the blank).........but then again, I'm not a football player.          Jon
