Come On Hillary, Time to Play Hard Ball

Anna Quindlen dissected the issues surrounding Sarah Palin better than I ever could in this week's Newsweek.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/157543

Quindlen has written the blueprint for the speech Hillary should have given as soon as Palin was nominated. But, no-o-o, she's suddenly Mrs. Nice Guy. For some misguided reason, she is not going on the attack while the window of opportunity is still wide open.

Why not? Did I mention that Obama has some of the very same people who engineered the last two incompetent attempts to take the White House? Why these eunuchs have jobs at all is beyond me.

People keep saying not to worry about the post convention blip. Why not? Have you been on Mars for the last two presidential elections?

If the Dems' big guns don't start playing like it's the bottom of the ninth with two outs, the bases loaded, and a full count, we might as well pack it in.

The DNC may have the loftiest of goals but they can't bring themselves to climb out of the gutter. I could have written a winning strategy for them but I don't take Yen and the exchange rate makes me nervous.

Here's a tip:

Shhh. Don't say a thing. Talk about your platform. Talk about your candidates. Tell the CHUD (Cannabalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers) bloggers to STFU.

Save your ammo for the debates. It's your last chance.

And finally (and most importantly):

George Bush is not running for office. George Bush cannot hurt you anymore. Your boogeyman is all gone. Mommy made it better. Do not talk about the boogeyman because no one can see him and they will think you are insane.

I don't trust HRC at all.  Unless she's out there tirelessly plugging for Obama from her on it, I'm convinced she wants McCain to win so that she doesn't have to wait until 2016 to run again.

I just watched someone hyperventilate on FOX(yeah I know, why am I bothering) because Obama used the "lipstick on a pig..." simile today and he "unquestionably" was calling Sarah Palin a pig.  Anything is a story I guess.  The rest of the election is going to be like a bunch of third graders on a playground, isn't it?

I was watching the View today and Whoopi Goldberg said it was going to be hard for Obama to "attack" Palin.  It would look like the "black guy" beating up on a white female.  She said it...........I didn't............but I got her point!   Anne

Mrs. L
I read this post this AM But did not have time to follow the link.  I'm glad I came back tonight and read Ms. Quindlen's article.  Thanks for the link.  You are right, it's the bottom of the ninth with two outs, and the big boys really need to bring out their "A" game.

Uh-oh. Anne opened the door for you-know-what.

"Black man's rage. Often imitated, never duplicated, except in genre movies by the Black film industry or Lifetime Television for Women. Never to be mentioned by anyone in the media or public lest they be burned at the stake for being a racist.
