Mrs. Linklater's Upcoming First Anniversary in J-land

March 17th is the big day. Mark it on your calendars. Mrs. Linklater's First Anniversary.  You can raise a toast to me from your seat on the curb while you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

I wasn't going to make a big deal of celebrating 365 days as a journaler. But if not me, then who?  Exactly.

A first anniversary celebration is a chance for me to re-run some of my favorite entries.  The ones I wrote when nobody was looking, I still had a counter, and there was a picture of me with curly hair.

It's a chance for you to feel my pain.  And for me to be a pain.  It's something to do while I'm trying to think of something else to do.

It's a chance for me to reflect.  To think about my life.  To fine tune my philosophy.  To re-read the restraining orders.

And share.  Because I am all about the sharing.

Ahh, if the restraining orders could talk. Happy A-Day in J-Land, whatever the hell that means.

I figured the honeymoon was over when you started coming to the keyboard wearing sweats.

I remember the first entry of yours that I ever read, though I can't remember the name now. I stumbled upon it by accident while searching for something else in journals. I've been hooked ever since. :-)

Now, when St. Patty's Day roles around, not only will I remind myself to wish my parent's a Happy Anniversary (they've been divorced for 20 years...  ha!) and wish you, Mrs. L a Happy Anniversary as well.  Congratulations on a year that went from curly to straight!
