Big Babe Tennis

Big Babe Tennis is all about tall women pounding the ball at each other with power usually reserved for male players.

When Venus Williams and Lindsay Davenport meet in tomorrow's Ladies Finals at Wimbledon, you will see plenty of that.

But winning the championship itself is all about something else. Being healthy. Focus. And as far Mrs. Linklater is concerned, their bra size.

In keeping with her theory of relative breastliness, Mrs. L is choosing the slimmer, trimmer 6-foot plus Venus Williams, who has a smaller chest, to beat the equally tall, if not taller, Lindsay Davenport in the finals of the Championships, Wimbledon.

In the top echelons of female sports, Mrs. Linklater is convinced that a smaller front porch is better.

To her credit, Lindsay has lost at least thirty pounds, which no doubt contributed to helping her recover from injury and reach the finals for the first time since she won at Wimbledon in the late nineties. She is also basking in the glow of the No. 1 world ranking, even though she's earned it mostly by default.

But, with all due respect, Mrs. Linklater is going with Venus on this one.

Unless she has her period.

UPDATE:: Venus won in three sets.  The longest ladies final in Wimbledon history.  4-6, 7-6, 9-7.

Mrs. L, do you have any similar theories for the men's game?  LOL.

Oh, you want to know who I think will win?  Roger Federer. Because there's no chance he'll get sidetracked the night before.  None. Zero.  Mrs. L

Ok, the boobular theory holds. Apparently, frequency of nipple erections is a non-factor.

I wonder if you knew that this theory was advanced before, when Bobby Riggs beat Margaret Court. I believe it was Rosie Casals who said, "YOU try playing with two apples on your chest."
